At Iliti, we believe mobility should be functional, beautiful, and full of personality. 
Founded in 2023 by two Aussie mums, Paula & Kat, Iliti was born from a simple frustration-why should mobility aids be dull and uninspiring? We saw an opportunity to reimagine mobility with flair, creating products that allow individuals to move with confidence, elegance, and joy.

Our passion for thoughtful design goes beyond mobility aids-it's about enhancing everyday comfort in ways that blend seamlessly into life. Paula was born with volvulus-a twisted bowel-which made passing motion difficult. Through research, she discovered that elevating her knees above her hips helps straighten the rectum, allowing for a smoother, strain-free experience. Using a stool changed everything for her, and her kids found it helpful too. But as an interior design lover, having a plastic stool in the bathroom didn't spark joy. That's when The Stooli Elmwood was born-beautifully crafted to provide both function and style, proving that even the most practical items can be aesthetically pleasing.

THE SPARK BEHIND OUR WHEELIE WALKER WARDROBE

The idea for our Walker Wardrobe started with Paula's Nana-a woman who adored fashion and always took pride in her appearance. When she reached the point of needing a mobility walker, she refused. To her, it wasn't just a mobility aid; it was clinical, uninspiring, and completely at odds with her sense of style.

That was our lightbulb moment. If mobility was about maintaining independence, why should it come at the cost of self-expression? Paula and Kat got to work, determined to transform wheelie walkers from something purely functional into something beautiful.
But we didn't stop there-our vision extended to Cushi our wheel chair padded cushions, ensuring that every mobility aid could be as stylish as the person using it.

A NEW ERA OF MOBILITY FASHION

With backgrounds in interior design, hairstyling, and health writing, we combined our expertise to craft stylish, high-quality, and accessible solutions for mobility equipment. 
Partnering with emerging Australian artists, we designed the world's first fashion-forward covers for rollators and walkers, turning everyday aids into expressions of personal style.

When we introduced our designs, we quickly saw the excitement from retirement village residents and beyond. They wanted mobility aids that felt stylish, fresh, and uniquely theirs. In 2025, Iliti became the first mobility fashion brand, entering a market that was ready for change.
